NewZNew (Chandigarh) : Away from the problems of the world and the sadness of the beloveds, this truly seems like a Valentines’ gift! Let’s welcome Mickey Singh, the international artist, to the Punjabi music scene of India with his latest single ‘Ho Gaya Pyar’. With a blend of Sachi Singh’s styling and DJ Ice’s rap, the song is a soulful rendition depicting the essence of boyish love.

Set to enthrall the Indian listeners this Valentine’s Day, the song has been shot in New Delhi and has been released on YouTube. Soon it will hit all major music channels too. Presented by Speed Records, the video has been directed by Kawachi India – Sachi Singh. Sachi is the official stylist for Mickey and has a fashion label ‘Micks Kawachi’ in collaboration with the heartthrob singer. Sachi debuts as a director with this song and has aesthetically shot the number trying to recreate the magic around Valentine’s Day.

Talking about his connection with India and the song, Mickey said, “This is a treat for all the lovers out there and I think they will really connect with the simplicity of the song. There is no negative reflection in the song and it only talks about love. At the end of the day love is the most beautiful feeling and I wanted to express that feeling through this song.” This song is expected to win the heart of millions worldwide and will be another feather to the cap of this multi-talented singer, songwriter and composer.

Mickey Singh is a maverick in the American Punjabi music world. His earlier hit single ‘Bad Girl’ sent ripples across the world with over five million views on YouTube. Mickey has performed alongside Bollywood singers like Shaan, Sunidhi Chauhan, Ali Zafar, Manj, Raftaar, Badshah, Jay Sean and shared the stage with superstars like Parineeti Chopra, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Imran Khan. His launch in India is seen as a major step in his career to move towards Bollywood. He already has a few offers to lend his voice for Bollywood movies.

Sachi Singh said “it’s an era of singles as people do not really have time to go out and buy a CD. The online ground is big enough for people like us to connect with our listeners and fans.”

DJ Ice is pretty optimistic about the singer’s launch in India. He said that it’s been a pleasure to collaborate with Mickey and he is really going to win hearts with his creativity.

Dinesh Aulakh, Director, Speed Records, commented, “Once again we’ve been lucky to have launched a talent which is bound to be loved by the audience. Be it the video or the music of the song, Speed Records once again promises quality to the audience. We are proud that Mickey is entering this market through us and we would certainly look forward for a long term association with him.”

Mickey Singh’s unparalleled popularity extends beyond the spheres of music to social media as well. His fans are actively posting on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Tumblr and SoundCloud. After he launched the remix version of Ankit Tiwari’s ‘Teri Galiyaan’ from the Bollywood flick ‘Ek Villain’ which hit over a million views in less than a month, his fan following in India tripled. With the growing number of Indian fans, his new song is already creating a lot of hype on social media.
