JEE Main 2022 exam- Check exam dates, eligibility criteria, application process here: The JEE Main or Joint Entrance Examination Main is the national level engineering exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to select eligible candidates for admission into various institutes like IITs, GFTIs, NITs.
Candidates who want to pursue engineering as a career and want to get admission into B.Tech, B.E. B.Arch. courses in the JEE Main score accepted institutions can participate in the 2022 examination. The application process for session 1 is ongoing now on the NTA official website- jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The last date to submit the online form for session 1 is 31 March 2022. Whereas the session 1 exam will be conducted on 21, 24, 25, 29. April and 1, 4 May 2022. Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria can apply for the exam. There will be only two sessions of JEE Main 2022. The JEE Main exam is also a gateway for the JEE Advanced examination.

JEE Main 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should make sure they fulfill the JEE Main 2022 eligibility criteria set by the NTA or
Their application will be rejected. Go through the JEE main eligibility criteria 2022 given below.
A. Age Limit
There is no age limit for JEE Main 2022 exam. Candidates of any age can participate in the examination. But, they should make sure they fulfill the age limit set by the institution they wants admission for.
B. Educational Qualification
Candidates should have passed class 12 or its equivalent in the year 2020 or 2021 or 2022. Candidates who have passed the class 12 exam in 2019 are not eligible to apply.
C. Number of attempts
There will be only two attempts of JEE main 2022. However, candidates can participate in the exam three times in a row.
D. Subjects
For Paper 1 (B.Tech.) candidates must have completed class 12 with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biotechnology as mandatory subjects and Chemistry/Biotechnology as an optional subject.
For Papers 2A and 2B candidates must have completed class 12 with subjects of physics, mathematics, and chemistry.
E. Domicile
The applicant must be an Indian citizen.
Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), and Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) may also apply if the category certificate is provided in a timely manner.
JEE Main 2022 Application Process
Candidates can fill out the JEE Main application form via online mode on the NTA official website. Follow the step-by-step JEE Main 2022 registration process given below to fill out the form.
Step 1: Visit the NTA official website- jeemain.nta.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the Apply for JEE Main option on the homepage.
Step 3: By clicking on it a registration page will open.
Step 4: Fill out the registration form by entertaining details like your name, valid mobile number, email address, date of birth, etc
Step 5: Candidates must click the submit button after filling out all of the required information. Candidates will be sent to a confirmation page where they must validate all information and tick boxes. Finally, candidates must choose “Final Submit.”
Step 6: Now, candidates will receive a login ID and password in the given mobile number/ email id.
Step 7: With the login credentials fill out the application form with details like family income, educational qualification, etc.
Step 8: Now, upload the important documentation like passport size photographs, signatures.
Step 9: Pay the application fee via net banking, credit- debit card, etc.
Step 10: Now take print of the confirmation page for future reference.

JEE Main 2022 Hall Ticket
Candidates need to download the hall ticket once it will be released by the NTA on its official website. The JEE Main 2022 hall ticket will include information like registration no, candidate’s name, paper details, etc.
JEE Main 2022 Answer Key
The NTA will release the JEE Main 2022 answer key after a few days of the exam. The answer key will include the correct answer for the questions asked in the JEE Main 2022 exam. Candidates can challenge the JEE Main 2022 answer key by paying the objection fee and providing valid proof, once the authorities will open the portal for it.
JEE Main 2022 Result
The JEE Main 2022 result will be released on the NTA official website. The candidates’ scores, as well as the JEE Main exam rank list by name, will be included in the JEE Main exam result. Candidates who come in the top 2, 50,000 rank list will be qualified for the JEE Advanced exam 2022.
