NewZNew (Chandigarh) : After a stupendous response in its previous season, COLORS is back with a bang with the second season of its show Mission Sapne. The show brings together celebrities from different walks of life as they step into the shoes of a common man to do their daily jobs and earn their wages. Living a common man’s life for a day will be actor Jimmy Shergill who will be seen becoming a Halwai (sweet seller) to help Rishu, a boxer from Haryana working as a maid to support her family.
Rishu who lives with her brother is the sole breadwinner for their family. As a kid, her father passed away and she was soon abandoned by her mother. Rishu’s father was a Halwai who owned a small shop in Haryana. A passionate boxer, Rishu had to give up her love for boxing and work as a helper at a nearby household in Haryana. Today, a determined Rishu has one goal – to become a national boxing champion one day. And this is where warm hearted actor Jimmy Shergill steps in. He will step away from the comforts of his life in Mumbai to raise funds for Rishu’s wellbeing. Leveraging his star power to ensure that business booms for Rishu’s welfare, Jimmy will be seen turning into a Halwai to earn funds for Rishu.
Commenting on helping Rishu achieve her dreams, Jimmy Shergill said, “Being a part of the show has been a wonderful experience, especially stepping into the shoes of Rishu who faced many hardships in life at a very early age.
