Catapults to Number 1 position within just over a year of starting paid services
Reliance Jio has catapulted to the top by capturing 24.8% of the total Revenue Market Share (RMS) in Haryana. The company has achieved this feat within a space of just a year and a quarter of starting paid services in April 2017 in the fiercely competitive Haryana telecom market, where the top three operators are constantly in a neck and neck battle.
As per the latest figures released by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) for the first quarter ending June 2018-19 for Haryana, Jio, with a Gross Revenue (GR) of Rs. 220.21 crore and RMS of 24.8% has bagged the top position, dislodging Vodafone (with a GR of Rs. 211.87 crore and RMS of 23.9 %) from the top slot. Airtel with a GR of Rs 202.68 crore has 22.9 % of the RMS and Idea with a GR of Rs 181.63 crore has an RMS of 20.5%.

Jio has also gained ground in Customer Market Share (CMS). It has been consistently increasing its customer base and with a CMS of 17% dislodged BSNL from its 3rd position in January 2018. As of June 2018, Jio with a customer subscriber base of 53.8 lakh has a CMS of 19.8%, while that for Vodafone & Idea is 23.2% and 20.5% respectively.
With a combination of LTE spectrum in 850 MHz, 1800 MHz & 2300 MHz bands connecting all 22 districts of Haryana, covering even the remotest of areas, Jio has a unique edge over other operators in terms of capacity and technology as it has invested in the most advanced state-of-the-art, all IP network to provide seamless voice and data services to its subscribers.
