LCET represent India at international conference at London University

NewZNew (Ludhiana) : Prateek Kalia, Associate Professor and HoD at Ludhiana College of Engineering & Technology &   PhD Scholar at Department of Research Innovation and Consultancy at PTU  presented his research paper at High Technology Small Firms Conference on Technology Based Entrepreneurship at University of Liverpool Management School, United Kingdom. Vijay Gupta, Chairman, LCET  while  congratulating  Prof. Prateek Kalia  said that Prof.Prateek Kalia  was the only Asian candidate not just from India but from entire Asia-Pacific region. It was proud moment for me to represent PTU and      at International platform.

While giving information about the event Prof Kalia said that it was my privilege to present first research paper of the conference. Each presenter was given 20 minutes to speak and another 10 minutes for Q&A, review and feedback from experts. These experts were from various prestigious universities of Europe like University of Liverpool, University of Groningen, University of Twente and VU University Amsterdam.

The conference had a doctoral day to promote the development of young researchers for the next generation of technology based entrepreneurship research. Where doctoral researchers presented their work and received detailed feedback from experienced academics in their field, as well as their peers. There was a session on research methodology and writing for publication as well. Keynote speakers for the conference were Prof. Simon Mosey University of Nottingham, John Leake Business Development Manager Sci-Tech Daresbury and Natalia Blagburn Newcastle Business School. There was very useful developmental session on writing case studies by Prof. Deirdre Hunt. Papers were presented by participants in different tracks like Learning and Innovation, Entrepreneurial Ecosystems & Networks and Valuing Entrepreneurial Ventures.
