Locals can relish Nizam-e-Hyderabadi food till Dec 30 at Western Court: Amidst the festive fervor, Chandigarh is going to bring flavors of the city of Nizams – Hyderabad.
The occasion is the Hyderabadi Food Festival which is being organized at Hotel Western Court, Sector 43, Chandigarh and Sector 10, Panchkula wherein diners not only relish the exquisite royal cuisines but will also remember this experience for their entire life.
During a press conference held at Western Court 43, General Manager Sandeep Kaundal said that to provide something different from the routine to the city residents and their guests, Hyderabadi Food Festival will continue till December 30.
Western Court Sector 10, Panchkula, General Manager Sachin Bajaj said that this festival will give residents a real feel fo Nawabi food and they can taste the traditional food of Hyderabad and this festival will continue till December 30, 2023. Hyderabadi Food Festival will give authentic aura and taste of Biryani with Nawabi Machchli and many types of Kebabs, Salans and traditional breads like Chur Chur Naan, Rogani Naan etc.
Introducing the detailed menu, Master Chef Gajinder said a total of 34 delicacies are being served which are a combo of veg and non-veg dishes. The royal feast of the Nizam was not limited to only non-vegetarian food, but with the time, vegetarian dishes also became an integral part of Nizam’s legacy. During the festival, the endeavor will be to make the guests aware of every aspect of Hyderabadi food, from main course food to snacks to sweet dishes. Dishes served at the food festival include Nawabi Machchli, Begum Badshah Kebab, Gosht Shikampuri Kebab, Nargsi Kofta Curry, Gosht Dalcha, Murg Do Pyaza, Murg Nizami Shahi, Sabz Nizami Tandoori Platter, Mushroom Tikka, Machchli Ka Salan, Gosht Dalcha, Mirchi Ka Salan, Safari Gosht, Baghare Baingan, Hyderabad Gosht Biryani, Khatti Dal, Khatte Meethe Aloo, Hyderabadi Gosht Biryani, Chur Chur Naan, Rogani Naan, Zafrani Halwa, Phirni, Shahi Tukda and others. Gajender, who has experience in hotel kitchens for almost two decades, said that in these dishes, the best inclusion of secret spices and herbs can be seen, which certainly cannot be found anywhere else in the city.
Guests can enjoy the food with the melody of Sanjeev Sood every evening.
