NewZNew (Chandigarh) : Maharishi Dayanand Public School organized quiz in collaboration with Department of Science and Technology, Chandigarh.
This quiz was divided into two categories i.e., junior and senior which was started with ten teams of each category. Five teams A, B, C, D and E were selected for middle round .Team A, B & D participated in final round for junior category. It was tough competition. Team: A, Neeraj and Hansraj stood first by getting 60 marks. Team: B, Jatin and
Jaspreet got 50 marks and received second place. Team: D, Khushi and Tiya achieved 40 marks and stood third for the senior category.
In Junior category participants of A team Babbandeep and Divya stood first. Vishal and Monty participants of team: C got second position. Shivam and Sahil of team: E received third position. Program In-charge Sukhwinder Singh told that the main aim of this competition was to popularize science and its uses in daily life.
Principal Dr. Vinod Kumar gave away prizes to the winners.
