NewZNew (Ludhiana) : Max Super Specialty Hospital (MSSH), Mohali 2-day free multispecialty health camp was started at Gurudwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha, Sarabha Nagar, Ludhiana today.
A team of doctors comprising of Dr Ashok Gupta from Internal Medicine, Dr Jaspreet Kaur and Dr Manpreet Kaur both from Gynaecology and Dr Suruchi from Opthalamology addressed the healthcare needs of people in camp. Max Hospital staff also offered free tests like bp, blood sugar, ECG and bone mass densitometry. The camp is being organized in association with Hope Foundation, an NGO based at Delhi.
Speaking during occasion, Mr. Sandeep Dogra, VP and Zonal Head, Max Hospital Punjab said, that Max Hospital was committed towards making specialized healthcare services accessible to all sections of society, especially women who were the backbone. Through this free medical camp, our endeavour was to address the health concerns of the people who were often neglected due to distance from a good healthcare facility or monetary constraints. In line with the Max Group philosophy of ‘Seva-bhav’, we have taken up the initiative to provide free consultation and medicines to needy people.”
