newznew (S A S Nagar) : Phase 3-A campus of Khalsa College (Amritsar) of Technology & Business Studies. A national seminar was organized today to discuss ‘Demonitisation – Revolutionizing the System to Nurture Cashless India’. Delegates from different universities and departments participated in the panel discussion to present their views. Dr SK Chadha, Chairman of Panjab University’s UBS, Mr Harjinder Singh Cheema, Managing Director of Cheema Broilers led the discussions. Panjab University’s Dr BS Ghumman, Dean (Faculty of Arts), Prof Lakhwinder Singh Gill, Punjabi University (Patiala), Mr Lalit Bishnoi, Deputy Director of Income Tax (Chandigarh) and Mr Rakesh Rastogi, Director of Gyanum participated in the seminar. Special Guest on the occasion was the MD of Guru Nanak Filling Station, Landra.

Seminar began by lighting of the lamp by the guests and campus alumnus. All the guests and speakers were thanked for actively debating a topic, which affects the lives of every citizen. They were also honoured with mementoes by the alumnus and Principal of the College, Dr Harish Kumari, to mark the end of an important seminar.
