NCERT RIE CEE Result 2017 today for Group A Subjects

RIE CEE result 2017 for NCERT CEE 2017 is set to be announced today (July 10). National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) conducts this Common Entrance Examination (CEE) for admission to Regional Institutes of Education (RIE) and had notified earlier that the results of RIE CEE 2017 of Group A subjects will be out by July 10.

The entrance exam was held on 11th June for admissions to different courses in Regional Institutes of Education (RIEs) located at Ajmer, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Mysuru & Shillong & PRARAMBH, School of Teacher Education, Jhajjar, Haryana.

While NCERT CEE 2017 was conducted at multiple test centres in 35 cities for admission to total 6 courses – B.Sc. B.Ed., B.A. B.Ed., M.Sc. Ed. (Group A); B.Ed. & B.Ed.-M.Ed.-Integrated (Group B) and M.Ed. (Group C) courses. Today, NCERT will announce the results of only Group A subjects, while the results of remaining courses will be announced later on 24th July.

NCERT CEE 2017 was conducted as a single paper consisting of 80 questions. Each question carried 2 marks, taking the total maximum marks in the entrance exam to 160. As per the selection procedure, the candidates seeking admission to the above mentioned courses were asked to submit the marks of qualifying exam (with respect to the courses) so that the merit list can be prepared. The last date to submit the qualifying marks for admission to B.Sc. B.Ed., B.A. B.Ed. & M.Sc. Ed. courses was July 5 and now the result will be announced.

NCERT CEE result for B.Sc. B.Ed., B.A. B.Ed. & M.Sc. Ed. courses will be announced at the official website www.ncert-cee.kar.nic.in. The merit list is to be prepared by taking the marks scored by the candidates in entrance exam and qualifying exam in the ratio of 60:40. The candidates shortlisted through this procedure will be required to submit the printed copy of application form along with all the enclosures including the photocopy of the mark sheet to the respective institute. NCERT will publish separate merit lists for each courses in different RIEs & Prarambh, School of Teacher Education.

Meanwhile, the candidates who had taken the NCERT CEE 2017 for admission to other courses including B.Ed., B.Ed.-M.Ed. (Integrated) and M.Ed. can submit their qualifying examination marks up to July 20. NCERT will process the data provided by these candidates and will announce the results of these courses on July 24.

Once the NCERT CEE results 2017 are officially announced, the same will be placed on the official website so that the candidates can check them. The candidates will be able to check CEE results at the online admission portal of NCERT i.e. ncert-cee.kar.nic.in.
