Over 550 Aspirants Auditioned, 14 short-listed

newznew (Chandigarh) : Zee TV’s ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’, the first singing talent hunt show on Indian television has been instrumental in introducing the country to some of its demigods of music –Shreya Ghoshal, Kunal Ganjawala or Shekhar Ravjiani, Bela Shende, Sanjivani and Kamal Khan in the last two decades. This prestigious platform is a beacon of hope, giving thousands of aspiring singers an avenue to exhibit their talent season after season! Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs aims to open doors for talented children of our country who dream of becoming the biggest child singing sensations. The show has given a platform to thousands of kids across the country to come forward and display their singing talent. The auditions for Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs in Chandigarh finished with a phenomenal response today. Over 550 aspirants stood in lines and waited for their chance to showcase their singing talent.

The enthusiasm and fervor among the talented kids was palpable. Starting from pure classical to melodious romantic numbers, contenders performed various genres of songs. Some of the participants gave really soulful performances, that left the creative team awestruck. Interesting part was that most of the kids, who had come for the auditions this time, were experts in different genres of music and had their own remarkable individual styles. A total of 14 contestants have been selected for the next round of auditions that will take place in Delhi.

In the coming days, Zee TV’s talent scouts will conduct auditions in Nagpur, Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai and Delhi. So if you think you have the singing talent that will make your school proud, then it’s time for all of you to come to your nearest center/cities for auditions.
