newznew (Chandigarh) : Chandigarh Tourism & Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh today distributed Tablets and laptop to the lucky winners of 3-days Chandigarh Carnival in a function held at the office of Tourism Department, Sector-9, Chandigarh.
Sh. Anurag Aggarwal, IAS, Home Secretary; Sh. Jitender Yadav, IAS, Director Toursim; Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group were present on this occasion.
Saurav S/o Sh. Devinder Kumar resident of Sec-20, Chd and Jagat Singh S/o Sh. Lachnan Singh and resident of Mauli Jagran won tablets in first two days and Ms Rittu d/o Sh. Narender Kumar, resident of Ramdarbar, Chd won laptop in the lucky draw of third day.
Sh. Jitender Yadav while appreciating the initiative taken by Aryans Group said that it was for the first time in the history of Chandigarh Carnival when added excitement was observed in the visitors from the morning starting from the filling up of the coupons till the evening upto the announcement of the lucky winner.
Dr. Anshu Kataria congratulated the winners and said that the idea was inspired from the digital India campaign of Prime Minister, Sh. Narender Modi. He further said that in today’s era of Technology has become the backbone of all our fests, carnivals etc.
