NewZNew (New Delhi) : Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal said on Sunday that the people of Delhi would not support riots. He also said that he was ready for elections in the national capital but the BJP was not initiating them. Kejriwal was quoted by ANI as saying, “Uttar Pradesh public gave an answer to the riots and so will Delhi public. They will not support riots in Delhi.”
He added, “Ready to contest polls. But want to know why BJP is not initiating polls, because their internal surveys show they’ll lose.” The AAP leader also said, “Some BJP people came to me and told me about the fake votes. This is their wave?” Accusing the BJP of trying to get voters’ list fudged in Delhi, Kejriwal had alleged yesterday that BJP had promised Rs 1500 for “one fake vote” and Rs 200 to get any “vote for AAP” deleted.
“A top BJP leader has directed all Delhi BJP MLAs to get at least 5000 fake votes made in each constituency and get AAP votes deleted. Bribe rate is Rs 1500 for new fake vote, Rs 200 to get any vote deleted. This information was given by someone who did this job for BJP last week,” he had said.
