Say unique initiative will go a long way in availing Government services at their doorsteps

People from across the state today hailed the path breaking initiative of the state government led by the Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann to offer citizen centric services to them at their doorsteps through ‘Bhagwant Mann Sarkar, Tuhade Dwaar’ scheme.

People attending the inauguration ceremony of the scheme envisaging home delivery of 43 government services in Ludhiana on Sunday expressed confidence that this initiative will set a new benchmark of success in Punjab’s history.

Chamkaur Singh from Shahkot said that this decision will alleviate the issues encountered by the general public in government offices, as all the services can now be conveniently availed at their doorsteps.

Terming it a revolutionary initiative of the state government, Amrik Singh, a resident of Moga said that people now won’t have to visit government offices instead, the government will come to their homes to handle their affairs. He said that individuals can easily access these services from home by scheduling appointments at their convenience.

Rajpal Singh, a Banga resident, asserted that this move will not only resolve issues faced by the public but also combat corruption. He said that this move will lead to further streamline government functioning.

Praising the initiative, Balwinder Singh, a resident of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar said that it is the first time a government is reaching out to the people, enabling them to easily avail the benefits of government services from the comfort of their homes.

Amrit, who had come from the Haibowal area of Ludhiana to attend the inauguration ceremony, said that the initiative will initiate a paradigm shift towards optical reforms, ushering in a new era in citizen service delivery.

Vijay Kumar, a resident of Milar Ganj in Ludhiana, said that in the past, people had to visit government offices to avail all services. However, now, people can simply call government employees to their homes by dialing a phone number. After completing all the necessary tasks, the delivery of documents will also be arranged at their doorstep.

Ajay Singh, who came from  Goraya town to attend this function, said that he had never thought before that the benefits of government services can be obtained sitting at home in this manner. For this, he wholeheartedly thank Chief Minister Bhagwan Singh Mann who took such a farsighted decision.

Praising the decision, Nem Chand, hailing from Khanna, remarked that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s government has consistently made historic decisions. He believes that facilitating government services for people at home will significantly enhance government services.

Parvinder Singh, a Jagraon resident, said that the Punjab government is already taking significant measures to combat corruption. However, offering government services to people at their doorstep represents a substantial change and it will also help to eliminate corruption. He said that this approach allows individuals to call government employees to their homes at their convenience.

Najam Singh from Raikot said that this unique initiative will greatly benefit people. People will be able to access citizen services from home by simply dialing a phone number, eliminating the need to go anywhere.
