NewZNew (Chandigarh – Kulbir Singh Kalsi) : Sacred Heart Former Students’ Association kicked off the cloak of fog with a much-anticipated winter Reunion on 27th December 2014 at Hotel Aroma. There was an enthusiastic participation by a significant number of ‘Heartians’ at the event themed ‘Reminiscences’. Memories of lifetime were made when the pass outs from the year, as old as 1980, mingled with the pass outs from the year, as new as 2014. They relived their school days and celebrated them once again, related back to their mentors and peeked into their teenage carefree serene days. It was a perfect evening filled with nostalgia, laughter, dance, games and music.
A continuously running slide show of the old school photos jogged faded memories and sparked off emotional discussions. Adding glitter to the event was a photo booth and an astrologer who predicted the career path and life of the young girls. Amongst this magnificent show was also the launching of the association’s website. The evening was followed by a tribute to the Alma Mater, the school that instilled good virtues and helped shape their future. A few current teachers of school also joined them in this celebration.
