NewZNew (Chandigarh) : Saina Nehwal has done it again. The Indian badminton sensation has sailed smoothly to the final of the China Open after a straight-set victory against China’s Wang Yihan on Saturday.
The 25-year-old Indian star won the first game 21-13, and the second game was won 21-18. The entire match lasted for 42 minutes. Saina recorded eight consecutive points in the total match, and her opponent recorded just three.
Li Xuerui of China is the only hurdle left for the Indian in her path for the title now. The final match takes place on Sunday.

Anybody who follows badminton, will know the stature of Saina’s opponent Wang, who was the 2011 World Champion and the 2012 London Olympics silver medallist. Not only that, the Chinese shuttler has a record of beating Saina on nine occasions, but today, it was different.
It was only less than 24 hours ago that Saina comfortably eased past Japan’s Nozomi Okuhara in straight-sets as well on Friday.
