Sarbala Ji launched its trailer in Punjabi style amidst a wedding fanfare: With lyrical beats of Punjabi songs showing the bittersweet nature of relationships, Tips Films Ltd. presented the trailer of the much-awaited film, Sarbala Ji, at ‘The Mohali Club, Wyndham’.
During the launch, the entire cast of the film, Gippy Grewal, Ammy Virk, Sargun Mehta, Nimrat Khaira, Guggu Gill, Girish Kumar, director Mandeep Kumar and producer Kumar Taurani were present and interacted with the fans and the journalists.
Sar Bala Ji is set in the vibrant era of the 1930s and revolves around the unique dynamics of two cousin marriages—Sucha and Gajjan Singh, and Gajjan and Pyaro. On one hand, there is the timid and shy Gajjan, who breaks into a sweat at the mere mention of marriage. On the other, stands Pyaro—a spirited, strong-willed girl with a boyish charm and unshakable determination.
The full story, with all its twists and cultural flavor, will unfold on the big screen. However, a powerful glimpse was seen during the film’s grand trailer launch, where the entire atmosphere was drenched in the vibrant hues of Punjab’s traditional wedding celebration. From the decors to the energy of a lively baraat, the event truly brought the film’s festive spirit to life.
Interacting with the audience, Director Mandeep Kumar shared, “Sarbala Ji is a heartfelt family drama, inspired by true events of life. It beautifully captures those moments of life that we all experience but can never express in words.”

Produced under the banner of Tips Films Limited, this film is directed by Mandeep Kumar and presented by Kumar Taurani. The credit for writing the story of the film goes to Inderjit Moga. The cinematographer of the film is Navneet Missar and the music is composed by AV Sara.
Sarbala Ji promises strong performances, lyrical music, and vibrant visuals of Punjab that breathe life into every scene. The film is set to release in theatres on July 18, 2025, and is expected to make new records in Punjabi cinema.
