World Economic Forum Initiative, Global Shapers Bhopal Hub brings a galaxy of speakers to discuss local issues at this regional South Asian platform
The highly acclaimed annual Shape South Asia Summit organized by Global Shapers Bhopal Chapter opened to a resounding success with nearly 1000 delegates from across south Asia and India in attendance in Bhopal. Global Shapers is an initiative of World Economic Forum and is a global community of young leaders who are exceptional in their potential, their achievements ad their drive to make a contribution to their communities. Dr. Noel Teago, Executive Director, Education , CIMA was the Guest of Honour of the opening.
“This year’s summit focuses primarily upon the fourth industrial revolution and how technology has created new opportunities and challenges in the world. The themes during the summit, which is being keenly followed across Asia will help prepare the public and private sectors across sectors to prepare for the disruption and innovation that is currently taking place and will take place in the future,” said Mr.Abhishek Mohan Gupta, the founding curator of Global Shapers, Bhopal Hub. “As a non-profit membership network, Global Shapers continues to work with its partners and members for the responsible development and building a more peaceful and inclusive world. This Summit that way will open up new vistas of collaboration, showcase India’s tremendous energy and enthusiasm and highlight our commitment to this endeavour.”
The Summit will bring together development leaders, business professionals, public and private sector partners, civil society, diplomats, and entrepreneurs and several high profile speakers to discuss the stories, views and share ideas around the fourth Industrial revolution and impact of technology on human progress. There are a series of panel discussions planned throughout 4th & 5th November along with some marquee workshops like Magic & Logic, Artificial Intelligence.
Shape South Asia 2017 ( SSA 2017) is annual regional event of Global Shapers community where Global Shapers from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan and Afghanistan come together to discuss their local issues at this regional South Asian platform. However any sharper can attend the event from across the globe.
