Rosalind Ross is the author and director of the crime thriller “God of the Rodeo.” It is based on Daniel Bergner’s book, which describes his observations from inside the most lethal prison in the American South. The narrative centers on Buckkey, a seasoned prisoner serving a life sentence who finds hope during the institution’s first-ever inmate rodeo. The fact that the rodeo is merely a gladiatorial contest intended to satiate the public’s thirst for blood and death and to satisfy the warden’s illusion of godliness confronts Buckkey and his fellow prisoners as they get ready for a final attempt at glory. Buckkey is played by LaBeouf. A release date is pending while filming continues.

2. Angel of Death (TBA)

LaBeouf has been cast in “Angel of Death,” a Holocaust drama directed by Jerzy Skolimowski. As they collaborate on horrifying experiments performed on Jewish prisoners during World War II, the narrative will examine the eerie relationship between Nazi Officer/physician Dr. Josef Mengele and Jewish pathologist Dr. Miklos Nyiszli. The film is presently in the pre-production stage, and no other cast members have been disclosed.
