Tech-bloggers smile as NASSCOM inks MoU with Bloggers Alliance: The National Association of Software & Services Companies (NASSCOM) Community, a technology and knowledge sharing platform under NASSCOM.
Research signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Bloggers Alliance (a national association of Bloggers) to cohesively work towards supporting tech community in India.
Speaking at the occasion, Achyuta Ghosh, Head- Research, NASSCOM said, “NASSCOM Community is a platform to recognize new thought leaders, connect potential businesses and create a network of individuals and organization, who are passionate about technology. It is a blend of technology, innovation and management that offers in-depth content on emerging trends and future of technology”
Continuing from where Achyuta left, Devendra Jaiswal, Secretary, Bloggers Alliance said, “The objective of the MoU is to benefit the diverse range of tech community from coders to tech entrepreneurs and from CIOs to tech bloggers.”
Ms Nihar Sharma, National Head-Strategic Alliances, who said, “This is essentially an alliance between creativity and technology. Associating with NASSCOM Community brings value and encouragement to tech community in general and mutual growth of both the organizations.”
According to Narvijay Yadav, President, Chandigarh Chapter of Bloggers Alliance, “Tech-bloggers in particular will benefit from this association as their work would be recognized on NASSCOM Community.”
One of the major highlights of the MoU is Bloggers Alliance joining hands with NASSCOM Community as its content partner, while NASSCOM Community acting as community partners. The other areas of collaboration outlined in the MoU include training workshops, content development (including research reports), joint events, competitions and giving a recognition platform to bloggers.
As part of the collaboration, Bloggers Alliance will facilitate content support to NASSCOM Community and in return NASSCOM Community will extend outreach to its tech community. In the process, NASSCOM Community would leverage the talent of the Bloggers Alliance members for developing content.
NASSCOM is a trade association of Indian Information Technology (IT) and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry. Established in 1988, NASSCOM is a non-profit organisation. It initiated a program called ‘10,000 Startups’ in 2013 to support and impact 10,000 startups in India by 2023. Rishad Premji, son of the Wipro head Azim Permji, was the Chairman of NASSCOM during 2018-19.
