NewZNew (Chandigarh) : Without having to go through the hassle of visiting Mumbai for an audition, now you can showcase your talent to top-notch directors sitting in the cosy comfort of your own home. All one is required to do is send his/her auditions to the portal – bombaycasting.com from January 6 to 21. Noted film writers and actors will offer tips on how to go about the exercise. Aspirants can also act out their own. All this without spending a penny.
Industry’s three noted Directors – including two National award-winning Directors – will scrupulously adjudge the entries. The trio are – Mr Anand L Rai, director of ‘Tanu Weds Manu’, ‘Ranjhanaa’ & ‘Tanu Weds Manu 2’; Mr Hansal Mehta, Director of ‘Shahid’, ‘Citylights’ & ‘Aligarh’ & Mr Tigmanshu Dhulia, director ‘Pan Singh Tomar’ , ‘Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster’, ‘Haasil’, ‘Shaagird’, etc.
Three most talented individuals will be picked by the trio. While the winner will get Rs 11 lakh and an acting contract with a leading film maker, the first and second runners up will get cash prize of Rs 5 lakh and Rs 2 lakh, respectively. All winners will get 100 days of work on various projects, such as movies, documentaries and advertisements.
