NewZNew (Chandigarh) : Baba Balak Nath Welfare Association Adarsh Nagar Nayagaon organized tree plantation on the occasion of first anniversary celebration. Chief guests were Chairman Naya Gaon Mohali Mr.Gurpreet Singh and Municipal Councillor ward no.14 Mr Baljeet Singh. All member of association are participated.
Mr. Gurpreet Singh said, “The main reason for most natural calamities on earth is lack of green cover. Humans are cutting down trees for their greed. It is the need of the hour to plant as many trees as possible to bring back the balance in ecology.”
All societies of Association took part in the tree plantation drive. Mr. Onkar Singh, President, Baba Balak Nath Welfare Association said, “We have planted 100 trees and I want to thank all residents for this. In the near future we will plant 1000 trees on the Road.”
On this occasion the Association’s, General Secretary Sh. Sunil Kumar, Secretary Madan Singh Rawat, Cashier Sh.Ramesh Lal, Joint Secretary Sh.Jagdish Kumar , Advisor Shamsher Singh its members like Riya Mishra etc participated with great enthusiasm.
