Tree Plantation drive held in Khalsa college

NewZNew (S A S Nagar) : Khalsa College of Technology and Business Studies (Amritsar), in Phase 3A here today organised a tree plantation to commemorate the Green Punjab campaign. The District Forest Officer Tejender was the chief guest on the occasion and planted a sapling.

While speaking on the occasion he said under the campaign more than 500 saplings will be planted. College principal Dr. Harish Kumari among others were also present. Dr. Kumari spoke about the importance of trees in environment conservation, adding how less green cover was leading to global warming.
