TET exam in Telangana will be conducted on July 23 as per the original schedule and there will be no change in the exam date, the Department of School Education, Hyderabad confirmed today. Also, TS TET hall ticket 2017 has been released by the Department for all the eligible applicants. As per the reports, over 3.67 lakh aspirants will be writing the Telangana TET 2017 exam this year. The applicants can take the print out of TET hall ticket from the official website tstet.cgg.gov.in.

TS TET 2017 will be conducted as a single paper test according to the guidelines framed by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Two papers form the Teachers Eligibility Test with the first paper (Paper 1) being the qualifying criteria for the selection of teachers for Classes I to V and the second paper (Paper 2) for the selection of teachers for Classes VI to VIII. A total of 1,11,597 candidates will be taking Paper 1 of TS TET 2017. For Paper 2, as much as 2,56,038 candidates have been issued TET hall ticket.
There was some confusion among the aspirants with the TET exam date as two exams have been scheduled for July 23 in the State, with the second exam being Veterinary Recruitment Test which will be conducted by TSPSC. So far, TSPSC has not yet given its final verdict on the exam date, but TET hall tickets have been issued today. The School Education Department has made it very clear that TS TET 2017 will be conducted as per schedule and there will be no change in the exam date.
The candidates should download TET hall ticket from the official website only and read the instructions carefully before appearing for the test. The list of do’s and don’ts should be taken seriously and the candidates should refrain from carrying barred items to the examination center.
Telangana TET (TS TET) will be conducted in all 31 districts of the State. The TET exam was notified by the Department on June 10 and the applications were submitted from June 13 to June 30, after an extension of a week in the last date. As per the standards, the candidates are required to score 60% and above marks in TET in order to be declared TET qualified. The School Education Department will declare the test results in the first week of August.
