The Joint Entrance Examination Council of Uttar Pradesh has declared the JEECUP counselling result for the third round today and it can be checked from the official website of Polytechnic counselling i.e. jeecup.nic.in. The Council is holding the centralized counselling process to fill seats in various diploma courses being offered in Polytechnic Colleges across the State. The seats are being allotted to the candidates based on JEECUP result.
The Polytechnic Entrance Examination (JEECUP 2017) was conducted by the Council on April 23 as much as 3.25 lakh students took the entrance exam. The results of entrance exam were declared on June 7. Diploma courses in Uttar Pradesh are divided in groups in which Group A is for engineering & technology courses, while the remaining courses are under groups – B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I & K. JEECUP counselling had commenced on June 13 and is scheduled to end by July 31. There are around 1.35 lakh seats in diploma courses available in Uttar Pradesh Colleges.
Under JEECUP counselling, the first seat allotment results were announced on June 22, followed by the second round results on July 7. The last date for reporting to the allotted Institute under 2nd round was July 11 and the online registrations for 3rd round commenced from July 12. JEE Council, today, declared JEECUP counselling result of third round as per the schedule.
The students can now check JEECUP counselling result and also take the print out of the allotment letter. Students allotted a seat are required to pay Rs. 3,000 as seat acceptance fee which can be paid through Debit Card/ Credit Card, Net Banking or Bank Chalan. Those who fail to deposit the seat acceptance fee will loose the allotted seat and will not be included in the next round of counselling.
For completing the admission formalities, the students will have to report to the respective Polytechnic college for document verification and collect the provisional admission letter. The last date for reporting under third round is July 20 and the registrations for fourth round will start on July 22.
