Two workshops were inaugurated on February 16, 2026, at Government College, Sector 1, Panchkula, under the guidance of Principal Dr. Shailaja Chhabra, jointly organized by the Department of Home Science and the Women’s Cell. The first workshop was on “Nail Art” and the second on “Color Craft.” Both workshops will run for two days.

Shivani Verma was present as the resource person for the “Nail Art” workshop, while Dr. Latesh guided the students as the expert in the “Color Craft” workshop. Both workshops received tremendous interest from the students. These workshops were organized by Dr. Vandita Sharma, Head of the Department of Home Science, Prof. Kusum Rani, Women’s Cell Incharge, and their team members.

Through these workshops, the students not only received a platform for creative expression but also received important inspiration towards self-reliance and skill development. Such programs contribute to the all-round development of students and inspire them to pursue self-employment and confidence in the future. The college administration expressed confidence that such activities will continue to play an important role in honing the talents of students and leading them towards new possibilities.
