The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the result of the civil services preliminary examination. UPSC had conducted the prelims exam on June 18,2 017. The candidates who have qualified the prelims exam need to fill up the the detailed application form (DAF) for civil services (main) examination (2017), online. As per the official notification, the form is required to be submitted at the UPSC website, www.upsc.gov.in. The students will be able to fill up the Detailed Application from August 17 to August 31, 2017 till 6.00 pm. The candidates who have qualified the UPSC prelims exam will now need to appear for the civil services (main) examination, 2017 will be held from October 28, 2017.
It has to be noted that The civil services examination is conducted annually by the UPSC in three stages which include preliminary, main and interview for selecting officers for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS), among others. As per the official release, the candidates who have been declared successful need to register themselves (UPSC) website before filling up the DAF online. Here are some steps to check results and fill DAF at official website upsc.gov.in:
- Login to the official website www.upsc.gov.in
- After which the candidates will need to enter their details which are available on the hall ticket.
- Candidates must download the results and take print out for future reference
The e-admit cards of eligible candidates along with the time table of the main examination will be uploaded on the commission’s website around two weeks before the commencement of the examination. Union Public Service Commission will also announce the marks, cut off marks and answer keys of screening test held through civil services (preliminary) examination, 2017. It has to be noted that the result of Roll Number 1000001 has been withheld as the issue regarding his candidature is subjudice and the result of Roll No.0178081 is withheld as her candidature is Provisional till the finalization of her disciplinary case.
