NewZNew (Chandigarh) : Over 55 exhibitors from across the nation have come together to bring alive a one of its kind showcasing of wedding trousseau collections, lifestyle products, real & artificial jewellery, designer apparels & much more in the “Wedding Wows- The wedding & Lifestyle Exhibition” to be held in JW Marriott on 11-12 July, Chandigarh.
The one of its kind exhibition is organised by A Million Dollar Affair, an event management company owned by Mr. Amit Singla and Mrs. Neha Singla. The duo has actuated numerous events in the past. “Doli”, “Vintage Fair”, “Bollywood Street” are few events worth a mention here. “This event will prove to be the premier event in the Tricity for the boldest and most intriguing ideas for the discerning bride”,says Neha Singla. Famous Designers and artists from bollywood are a part of this exhibition. Wedding planners such as Country Farms are here with their awe inspiring themes & ideas for prospective wedding couples and their families Candid Photographers and videographers like Deepila Deep Clicks who have done portfolio shoots for bollywood stars such as Sonam Kapoor and the King Khan SRK himself, caterers, florists, mehndi designers such as Veena Nagda who did Mehndi for likes of Shilpa Shetty and Mallaika Arora along with venue owners, and entertainment providers are all there under the same roof.

Their collection will include designer attires for not only the bride and groom but also fashionable yet affordable dresses for everyone else in the family including the kids. This exhibition has something for everybody and is light on the pocket as Designer clothes start from Rupees 2000 onwards. Sheetal from Tassels by Sheetal, the exhibiter from the bolly town, says, “We offer designs which compliment one’s distinct attitude & personality. Colours we are working are pastels for light lehngas & nevertheless red for brides.” Dia Mittal says, ” We are launching suits and western European digital prints, which is being launched for the first time in tricity, which is something new for gifting pupose. Pastel shades and peach colours are in trend in this season.” Swara Jewels and Perfect Diamonds add a superlative bling factor to the event with their exquisite jewellery designs.
The chief guest at the event was Ms. Savita Bhatti who selected a few designer dresses for herself and commended the showcase. She said, “Weddings in India are a lavish affair. Wedding preparations, thus, is a very taxing job and Wedding Wows has made it tad easier by bringing all designers and planners on a single platform.”
