NewZNew (Chandigarh – Kulbir Singh Kalsi) : This year the 10th Chandigarh Golfing Tour 2014 is being organized by Chandigarh Golf Association (CGA) from December 19th to 21st 2014 as per following schedule:-
Day-1 19th December 2014 – Forest Hill Golf Resort ( Practice round)
Day-2 20th December 2014 – Chandigarh Golf Club ( Match)
Day-3 21st December 2014 – Panchkula Golf Club ( Match)
As on date 95 entries have been received from 12 countries of the world. Maximum participation however is from the USA and Canada with 30 & 26 players respectively. Details of participants from various countries are as under:-

The competition this year is likely to be contested between the USA and Canadian players. Last year’s champion Mr. Amarjit Brara will again be defending his Title. There are 7 players with single figure handicap and lowest is Dalminder Minhas with 4.6 handicap from the USA.
The format of play like last year will be stroke play and championship will be decided on the best aggregate score of the two match venues of the game.
Those associating with this event are Tourism Departments of Govt of India, Chandigarh, Punjab & Haryana, Indian Golf Tourism Association (IGTA) and Goel Motors.
