NewZNew (Ludhiana) : As many as 300 women attended a Max Hospital, Mohali free multi-specialty health camp at Deol House, Kailash Chowk, Ludhiana today. The camp was organized in association of HOPE India Foundation. A team of senior doctors from Max Hospital Mohali including Dr Ravikant Takhi from Internal Medicine, Dr Jaspreet Kaur from Gynaecology and Dr. Suruchi from Opthalamology addressed the healthcare needs of women in camp.
During camp the consultations and checkups of bp, blood Sugar and ECG and eye tests were provided free of cost. .
Speaking during occasion, Sandeep Dogra, VP & Zonal Head, Max Hospital Punjab said that a woman is considered the health manager of the family. However unfortunately while she’s taking care of everyone else, she often neglects her own health. In line with the Max Group philosophy of ‘seva-bhav’, we have taken up the initiative to provide free consultation and medicines to women and are happy that this initiative will benefit them.”
