NewZNew(Chandigarh): Punjab & Haryana Bar Council, Chandigarh under the Chairmanship of Sh. Rajat Gautam today organized a function in order to distribute enrolment certificates to the law graduates who are willing to enter into the legal profession and applied for issuance of license under the Advocates Act 1961. The function was organized in the auditorium of Law Bhawan, Chandigarh. Hon’ble Mr. Justice Rameshwar Singh Malik, Judge Punjab and Haryana High Court graced the occasion as Chief Guest and distributed the enrolment certificates to 330 new entrants.
Hon’ble Mr. Justice Rameshwar Singh Malik, addressing new advocates said “For a confirmed Success in the legal profession, you all should take it as a Mission”. He appealed to the new lawyers to uphold the dignity of the profession and work with dedication and hardwork. “You have read the theory till date, now it’s time to give it a practical shape”, he added.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Jai Vir Yadav, Mr. Gurinder Pal Singh and Mr. Partap Singh lauded the role of business in society and law. They inspired new lawyers to work with patience and sincerity.
Chairman Mr. Rajat Gautam while addressing the new lawyers talked about the important role of lawyers in society and how they work to bring the society to the right direction. He has also given his unique formula of Rice to Rise.
The function was anchor by Sh. Parvesh Yadav, Honorary Secretary.Vote of thanks was extended by Sh.Harpreet Singh Brar, President of High Court Bar Association, thanked the Chief Guest and all present on the occasion.
