- EDUCATION MINISTER ORDERS DISTRICT AUTHORITY FOR STRICT ACTION
NewZNew (Chandigarh) : Punjab Education Minister Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema has decided to give the special opportunity to the acid attack victim the student of XII class by taking the case seriously. He has also ordered Deputy Commissioner Dr. Abhinav Trikha and SSP Mr. Gurpreet Singh Toor of the Gurudaspur to arrest the culprits as early as possible and take strict actions against them.
Disclosing this here today in a press note, Dr. Cheema said that it’s a very shameful act. He has ordered Punjab School Education Board that special exams of the victim should be conducted after her recovery. He has also said the result of the victim to be declared with the rest of the students of XII class.
Along this Dr. Cheema had conversation with the brother of the victim assuring him that Education Department and the state government will help them in every possible manner.
