NewZNew (Kharar) : A special sports Adventure Camp was organized today by the Mind Tree School Kharar . All the students in age between 4 to12 participated in the day long camp. The children were introduced to the different types of adventure activities during the camp, which included rope climbing, rappelling, ropewalking, monkey crawling, little commandos in the commando net activity, passing through the tyre etc. The adventure camp was conducted by trained instructors.

It was amazing to see the children reposing faith in the instructors and undertaking difficult tasks like rope climbing, rappelling, rope walking, monkey crawling, little commandos in the commando net activity, passing through the tyre as swift as the birds, pitching lovely tents after having learnt from the instructors, after a few attempts they were at ease with wall climbing, and never saying no to the next round.

Overcoming their fear and putting their endurance to test and when children achieved the feat, their happiness was immeasurable. It was a very welcome idea as such outdoor activities undoubtedly are missing even in regular schooling.

Sanjay Kumar Director Mind Tree School said that, there is a great need for the children to get right kind of environment at all times and it is always important to keep children positively occupied and give them some moments to cherish and hence we organized Adventure Camp in the school premises which was also  welcomed  by parents of the children and we received their total support.
