NewZNew (Zirakpur) : Atticus International School, Zirakpur organized a Baishakhi Mela. Little ones were seen enjoying the colourful celebration with their Parents.
Said Dr Ashish Sharma, Director, Atticus International School, “We wanted to give Parents and their children a platform to enjoy together. They celebrated the festival of harvesting as one family unit. We had organised many attractive competitions based on the rich Punjabi culture for them.”
The theme of the festivity was ‘Vibrance of Punjab’. Baisakhi is a time to rejoice and there were performances of Giddha, Bhangra & Dhol during the event. The tiny tots provided a pretty picture as they danced away to glory on the beats of the Dhol.Prizes were given for Best Bhangra Family, Best Dressed Punjabi Family & Best Punjabi Folk Singing Family. Children participated in two age Categories – Children 1.5 to 2.5 years and 2.5 to 4.5 Years
It is noteworthy that Atticus International School has recently opened in Zirakpur and is providing facilities of Playway, Pre-Nursery, Nursery and Kindergarten classes. Soon primary, junior and higher classes will be added to the unique educational infrastructure of Atticus, at a new campus on the Zirakpur-Patiala road itself.
