NewZNew (Chandigarh) : Donor2Donor, a unique Blood Donation App in Association with Sai Sports & Entertainment organized a Blood Donation camp. The blood donation camp was held in memory of Kargil Martyrs at Sector 19-C Ground, Near Sadar Bazar, Chandigarh.
Well known former Indian Cricketer Mr. Dinesh Mongia was the Guest of Honour.
The main organizer of the camp — Donor2Donor, is an innovative mobile App that will bring Blood Donors & Receivers on the same platform. Whenever there would be any requirement for Blood, receiver just needs to search on the App & it will show him or her, the location of Blood donor. “The receiver would get a list for a donor up-to a 50 Km Radius. This App is compatible to both Android and IOS.” Said Dixit Sood, Founder, Donor2Donor.
The event also saw donors paying their sincere gratitude to the great Martyrs of the Kargil War, by signing on a ‘specially created area’ on the backdrop installed at the venue.
“We have associated with the Blood Donation camp as our organization has been created with an objective to provide health & fitness to society. It was a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative by us. We are also happy to announce that Season 2 of Corporate Super League (CSL) T 20 tournament will be organized by us in coming October 2016.” Said Adesh Khanna, Co Founder of Sai Sports & Entertainment.
It is noteworthy that a team of doctors & paramedics from PGIMER, Chandigarh collected the blood units at the camp. The Blood Donation camp received support from Wealth Creators Reality Services, Music Nishi, MTR, 92.7 Big FM, Kailash Restaurant, Rudransh Productions , Sterling Sports Rehabilitation & Advance Physiotherapy Centre & The Perfection Events & Entertainment.
