NewZNew (Chandigarh – Kulbir Singh Kalsi) : A Blood Donation Camp has been organized in Moti Ram Arya Sr. Sec. Model School Sector 27 – A , as its annual feature to commemorate and to pay homage to the great visionary – Late Sh. Hardyal Mahajan , on the occasion of his 18th death anniversary . It was organized in collaboration with the P.G.I Blood Transfusion Society.
The Camp was inaugurated by Sh. G.S. Cheema,DIGP, U.T Chd, Mr. S.k.Dua, Deputy General Manager inaugurated the Free Medical Checkup Camp. It went on from 9.00 a.m to 2.00 p.m on Saturday, the 22nd Nov 2014.
Students from NCC and Parents of the school children donated for the noble cause very enthusiastically . Some of the Societies also came forward for the purpose . Over 200 donors donated blood . The school authorities – Director Mrs S.Mahajan & Principal Mrs S.Savant and all the members of the staff were present .
Besides this, Free Medical/Health Check ups were also conducted Near about 500 people got advantage of this camp. The camp was a grand success.
