NewZNew (Chandigarh) : To make students realize the significance of human life & to make them aware about road safety & traffic rules, a workshop on ‘Road Safety & Traffic Rules’ was organized at The British School, Chandigarh by Wing Commander(Retd.) C S Grewal, Mrs. Uma Mahajan (Traffic Marshal) & the Chandigarh Traffic Police.
Mrs. Mona Shri Sethi, Principal, The British School, Chandigarh said, “Experts shared latest data about road accidents in the country. The students were encouraged to be helpful and empathetic towards Road accident victims.”
Students were informed about laws related to violation of different traffic rules, minimum age for driving license etc. Self explanatory videos and a question & answer session, made the concept clear to the students.
