BSF HC Min result 2017 declared, 1580 qualify for 2nd Phase exam

BSF HC (Min) result 2017 has been declared by the Directorate General Border Security Force. The written examination for recruitment to the post of Head Constable (Ministerial) in BSF 2016-17 was conducted on 23rd April and the results have been declared now. Lakhs of aspirants took the written exam held at 17 BSF examination centers for filling 144 vacancies of Head Constable (Ministerial). BSF HC Min result has been declared in the form of pdf file containing the roll numbers of qualified candidates.

Total 1,580 candidates have qualified written exam for Head Constable (Ministerial) posts and will now have to take 2nd phase exam.

Directorate General Border Security Force under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India had advertised to fill Head Constable (Ministerial) vacancy in December last year. As per the selection process, the applicants were subjected to a written examination (Phase 1). The number of vacancies advertised initially were 121, but the inclusion of fresh vacancies took the tally to total 144 vacancies, including 121 under Direct Recruitment and 23 for Departmental candidates.

Total 1,580 candidates have been declared qualified as per BSF HC Min result 2017. This includes 1,340 candidates under Direct recruitment, 239 departmental candidates and 1 Ex-serviceman. The answer key of written examination has also been published by BSF. The cut-off marks have been announced by the BSF recruitment department. The BSF Head Constable cut off for direct entry candidates stood at 73 & above marks, while for departmental candidates, the cut-off marks were 62 & above.

The qualified candidates will now have to appear for 2nd phase examination which is scheduled to be held from 11 to 16 September. The candidates who took the written exam in April can check the BSF HC min result from official website bsf.nic.in. The authorities have published the roll numbers of candidates who have qualified written examination for recruitment to the post of HC (Min) in BSF and found eligible for appearing in 2nd phase examination. The call letters to qualified candidates are being dispatched separately by the examination center through post, the authorities informed.

The 2nd phase exam consists of Physical measurement, Typing Speed Test, Documentation (Checking of documents) and medical examination. The candidates will have to carry the following original documents for verification purpose:

  • Matriculation certificate for verifying date of birth
  • Other educational qualification certificate
  • Caste certificate
  • NOC from employer
  • 2 recent passport size photograph

The candidates will have to bring these before the selection board at the time of documentation during second phase exam.

BSF HC Min result 2017 is now available at bsf.nic.in and the candidates will have to look for their roll number in order to check their qualifying status.
