NewZNew (S A S Nagar) : Music Competition was held in Lawrence Public Sr. Sec. School for classes VI to XII promote singing and motivate students to take interest in it. H M Singh,music director and producer of feature and documentary films presided over the function .Mrs Shivani from Pracheen Kala Kendra,Sec-35 & Director  , producer H M Singh judged the competitors for Solo, Duet and Group Song. The classes were divided into two groups. Group A was of classes VI, VII, VIII and Group B was of classes IX to XII. The students participated in the competition with great enthusiasm. It was a treat to the ears to hear the melodious voice of the talented budding singers.

Winners of Group A of solo, Duet and Group singing were Ramneek, Arsh and Shivani Rana , Cheering Team respectively . Baljot ,Vineet & Mitali  ,Cheering Team  got first position in  Group B in  solo , Duet , group singing .

While honouring the winners Principal Veena Malhotra Said that Singing & Dance are the hidden language of the soul and is also considered an act of creation. All forms of art are an important source of not only aesthetic values but also life, mind, soul and spiritual values. It is the awareness of these values which we envision and aim to spread through our Heritage of music and dance amongst the youth of today.
