Calicut University Second Allotment 2017 published

newznew (Chandigarh) : Calicut University has published the second allotment for undergraduate degree admissions under UG CAP 2017. The students can now check the Calicut University allotment 2017 from the dedicated portal of Centralized Admission Process i.e. ugcap.uoc.ac.in. The University of Calicut (CU) holds online admission process for UG courses and announces degree allotment which are based on the merit of the qualifying exam.

Calicut University had opened the online registrations for UG CAP 2017 in May. Based on the registration and options submitted by the candidates up to June 2, the trial allotment was published by the University on 2nd June. The scheduled date for publication of first allotment under Calicut University CAP 2017 was June 13, however, it was published one day ahead on June 12. The same has been done in the case of second allotment.

The second allotment was scheduled to be out on June 19, but the University published it today on June 18. The students can check their respective allotment status from the UG CAP portal for which they will have to login to the portal. +2 or 12th registration number and CAP ID is required to access Calicut University allotment result. The University has also launched a mobile app for UG CAP 2017, the students can also check Calicut University allotment 2017 result from the mobile app.

Over 1 lakh registrations were received by the University of Calicut for degree admissions 2017-18. The University is holding the centralized admission process for filling around 33,000 seats in various undergraduate programs offered in the institutions affiliated to it. Overall, the University has to offer more than 65 thousand seats in 279 affiliated colleges.

The students who have been allotted a seat of their choice under Calicut University second allotment 2017 are requied to confirm the seats on or before June 21. The third allotment result will be out on 24th June.

The seat allotment in University of Calicut is proposed to be conducted in four rounds. There will be two special allotments for SC, ST and BPL candidates in forward case after the completion of four rounds of allotments. The last admission to UG courses will be done up to 14th August, while the classes are scheduled to commence from 5th July.
