Actress Gauhar Khan told the importance
NewZNew (S A S Nagar) : Chandigarh Group of colleges, Jhanjeri, introduced course of B.Sc Fashion Technology. The course is affiliated to P.T.U, Jalandhar. Actress Gauhar Khan while congratulating CGC for starting the course said that Fashion Technology is a fast growing field not only in India, but in the whole world .The students studying this course will find lots of opportunities in their life. She added that after doing such courses, apart from availing lots of job opportunities, the students can easily start their own business by opening boutiques to become independent. Fashion designing is the latest trend. Fashion designing is basically creating new designs for the clothes and accessories to make them more beautiful or pleasing which is never ending business.
Speaking on the occasion, S. Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal President CGC said that CGC conducts a thorough survey about the useful course before beginning it in CGC. Indian fashion is gaining a lot of popularity abroad because of its excellent craftsmanship. India is today witnessing rapid growth in several sectors which includes the fashion industry also. Dr. G.D. Bansal, Director General said that on one hand this course appears to be glamorous, but on the other hand it will teach the basic art of designing the apparels as per the latest trends, stitching embroidery and marketing of these garments.
