NewZNew (S A S Nagar) : Chandigarh Group of colleges honoured eminent lady personalities of the region, who are inspiration for others like Subhreet kaur Ghuman a famous dancer,Manisha Bansal Badal ,IPS,Director –Postal Services and RJ Meenakshi on National Girl child Day . These girls of the region have achieved enviable positions by virtue of their extraordinary ‪talent and ‪‎calibre.

While speaking at the moment Subhreet Kaur  the only  one legged dance of India said that  she lost her leg in this road accident in  2009.This even doesn’t  become hurdle in her life and she  surprised the world with her dancing skills .She  converted her physically incapability as her strength .Manisha Bansal Badal ,IPS,Director while encouraging the students though she was topper in school exams yet she has to face many difficulties  to join higher studies  because of her physical disability. Only due to her hard work she is able to achieve her goal.Famous  RJ Meenakshi said that  she was born in Haryana family and feelings of  her grandmother makes her feel of discrimination of boys and girls when she received national honour then her grandmother  realised her mistake and consider her better than boys which was loveliest moment of her life.

While speaking at the moment  President CGC Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal said that the main reason to celebrate national girl child day was to propagate the gender equality and remove all the inequalities faced by the girl children of the Indian society.
