NewZNew (S A S Nagar) : Chandigarh Group of Colleges Jhanjeri organized expert talk on design analysis, algorithm and theory of computation with a view to update knowledge of the students to the latest levels. The keynote speaker at the moment was Dr. Kawaljeet Singh, Director, Computer Science, Punjabi University, Patiala. The seminar gave an insight into the practical applications of Computer Technology to the students pursuing their M.Tech and B.Tech degrees in Computer Science & Engineering. During the lecture, the concepts of design analysis, algorithm and theory of computations were explained to the students. Curiosity of students was also satisfied by answering their questions related to the subject.
Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President, CGC said at the moment that Nowadays everything is getting advanced every second of time. Every day starts with something new. Whatever be the field, everything is getting advanced. Lots of researches and studies are carried out various subjects around the world. These updates on various fields cannot be included in the student curriculum. But students have to keep their eyes on what new things are arriving day by day and such seminars give exposure to the students to interact with the experts to enhance their knowledge and confidence as well.Which is paramount important for them in their professional life and during their interviews for placements .
