NewZNew (Chandigarh) : Shri Maninder Singh Bains, Chairman – Chandigarh Housing Board, has inspected a defunct underground parking/garages in EWS houses at sector 40 C , Chandigarh and also he has started the work of upgardation of Sewrage System at these EWS houses in sector 40 C, Chandigarh in presence of Smt. Gurbax Rawat, Deputy Mayor, M.C. Chandigarh and area councilor of this sector.

Smt. Gurbax Rawat thanked Chairman and apprised that she has given a list of Transfer cases of about 32 houses of her ward to Shri Maninder Bains which has been closely looked into by the department and most of the cases has been resolved and letters has been issued to allottees. She also apprised that a few days back she has discussed the matter of an underground garages of 40 C EWS houses in defunct state with Chairman Housing Board and on which Chairman has expressed his interest to visit and sort out the issue. Also Smt. Rawat said its an honor for these houses as Shri Maninder Bains has today accepted her invitation to visit underground parking/garages in 40 C and also to start the work of upgradation of Sewrage System of these EWS houses.

Shri Maninder Bains said he himself felt honored to see such a enthusiasm among residents of sector 40 C to meet Chairman Housing Board. He appreciated the efforts of Smt. Gurbax Rawat and said that he also wants to work closely with public and is always in favor of providing maximum relief to the public. He said that no more notices for old violation etc.. shall be sent to public. And He walked down the streets of EWS houses himself and also listened to the problems of residents living there. He also appreciated the work of Municipal Corporation to upgrade the old Sewrage System of these EWS houses.
