NewZNew (Chandigarh) : Thirty Two (32) top Colleges & Universities from across the length & breadth of Canada participated in a Mega Canadian Education Fair which was organised by Charms Education & Immigration Services, which guides students find the right course, Institute & in provision of consultancy services for turn-key student visas for Canada. “It is noteworthy that all reputed Institutes that took part in today’s fair are approved by the Canadian Government and are members of AUCC (Association of University & Colleges of Canada) & ACCC (Association of Canadian Community Colleges) and registered under Designated Learning Institutions (DLI). Some special offers for students like scholarship, application fee waiver and on the spot admissions etc. were made. Latest information on student visa processing, were also shared with the prospective students”, Said Mr. Rahul Paitka, MD, Charms Education & Immigration Services.
During student counseling it was revealed that some top Universities like University of Waterloo can give waiver for IELTS if the prospective student’s score in English is excellent. “The students were very motivated about pursuing an education in Canada. Prominent among participating Colleges & Universities were Columbia College, Camosun College, Thompson Rivers University, Royal Roads University, University of Waterloo, Vancouver Film School, Capilano University, Bow Valley College. The fair witnessed demand for courses like Journalism, Psychology and Criminology etc. in addition to a heavy demand for engineering, nursing, information technology & business areas.
Said Ms. Tanya Singh a prospective student, “I learnt that Canada is a destination where education is more affordable than other countries. The amount of paper work to be done is a bare minimum & no old funds need to be shown. I was informed that students can work up-to 20 hours part time per week off campus.”
