NewZNew (Chandigarh) : To welcome the New Year, it was an evening of delight in New Chandigarh. Thousands gathered recently to witness the musical extravaganza that unfolded in the very beautiful and scenic Omaxe New Chandigarh. Punjabi heartthrob Diljit Dosanjh of Jatt & Juliet fame enthralled the packed house with scintillating Punjabi numbers. There was no stopping young and old as each one braved the evening cold and had a gala time.

Some humour added to the wholesome entertainment. The inimitable Sudesh Lehri of Comedy Circus fame had the audience in splits as the evening progressed. Belonging to this part of the land, Lehri added a lot of local flavor to his act. It was an exhilarating time for the audience. To add to this were sparkling performances by Bollywood and Bhangra dance troupes. Rupali Jagga of India Idol fame had the audience grooving to latest Bollywood numbers. The New Year Celebration couldn’t have been more exciting.

Over 10,000 attended “Welcome 2015 New Year Celebration” in Omaxe New Chandigarh and participated in the Lucky draw that had exciting gifts for winners. Sumptuous food, a cool evening and lots of warmth and bonhomie among the people was the highlight of the event.
