The Engineering allotment list has been finally published by DTE Maharashtra now. After a series of delays, the Directorate has published Engineering Provisional Allotment List for CAP Round II at the official website dtemaharashtra.gov.in.
DTE Maharashtra will release the CET 2017, CAP round 2 allotment for 2017 engineering admissions after 12 pm now. It means that probably, the allocation list will be out anytime tonight. It’ll be better to check that out in the morning though, cause DTE may again postpone it. Don’t lost your sleep over it!
CAP Round 2 Allotment will now be published after 11 PM, DTE Maharashtra has updated the info. Earlier today, DTE Maharashtra had set the release of second round allotment at 9 pm. DTE Maharashtra CET 2017 engineering CAP round 2 allotment can be checked after 11 pm at dtemaharashtra.gov.in portal.
The Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra is going to publish the CAP Round 2 allotment today for admission to the first year Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) course on the basis of the results of Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test (MHT CET 2017). The registered students can check 2nd round allotment status after logging into the admission portal. The 2nd round allotment to B.Tech seats will be available at 5 pm today at the official website dtemaharashtra.gov.in.
Earlier on June 28, DTE Maharashtra had published first round allotments and the students were given time till July 4 to report for admission. Accordingly, the seats available for CAP Round 2 were also displayed on the website so that the candidates could fill or edit the online option form as per the requirement. The following category of students were allowed to participate in the CAP Round 2:
- Those who were not allotted any seat in the first round or who did not participate in the first round.
- Those who had taken and cancelled their admission in CAP Round 1.
- Those who had rejected the offered seat by not reporting to the ARC.
- Those who had selected Freeze option in Round 1.
The registered students should check their respective allotment status from the official website and report to the Admission Reporting Center (ARC) as per allotment if the seat will be allotted for the first time. Such students should report to the ARC on or before July 14, up to 5 pm. The allotment to the seats in CAP Round 2 will be on the basis of the options exercised by the students from July 5 to 8.
The vacant seats for CAP Round 3 will be displayed by DTE on July 16 and the candidates will be allowed to change the option, confirm the option form from July 16 to 19. The provisional allotment of CAP Round 3 will be published on July 21. After final CAP round, the students should report to the institution finally allotted to him/ her and confirm the admission in the institution.
DTE Maharashtra is holding the centralized allotment process for admissions to Engineering courses. There are around 1.3 lakh seats in Engineering available at the technical institutions in the State and the admissions are being done on the basis of results of MHT CET 2017. DTE is also conducting CAP for 36,000 Pharmacy seats. The CAP Round 2 allotment for Pharmacy courses will be published on July 11.
