NewZNew (Panchkula) : Summer is the time for children to refresh and rejuvenate themselves. St. Soldier’s School, Sector-16, Panchkula had organized a summer camp which included exciting fun filled activities catering to children in the age group 8-16 yrs. The grand finale of the camp was held with children displaying skills they learnt during the camp. The camp had activities like Classical and Western Dance, Vocal and Instrumental Music, Robotics, Electronics, Oil Painting, Web Designing and Flash Animation. Various sports related activities like Basket Ball, Football, Badminton, Cricket, Table Tennis, Lawn Tennis Taekwondo, Athletics and Yoga were also a part of this summer camp.
“We tried to give an opportunity to students to enjoy and also learn some or the other form of art, science etc. We have elaborate sporting facilities which we had thrown open to children.” Said Renu Dewan, Principal.
On the last day participating students were taken to a water park where they had an amazing time.
