Gian Jyoti organized Youth Fest Pratibha


newznew (S A S Nagar) : Gian Jyoti Institute of Management & Technology Phase –  2 organized  Youth Fest PRATIBHA at its campus . As many as 1500 students from the colleges of  Tricity, Punjab, Haryana and Himachal participated in cultural extravaganza. D.S.Mangat, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Mohali was the Chief Guest on the occasion. J.S. Bedi, Chairman, Gian Jyoti Group presided over the event. The day started with seeking the blessings of Goddess Saraswati and the lighting of the lamp.

The event entered into a joyous state with the western dance, Bhangra based on the theme followed by a fashion show. Many other performances included Lok geet, solo song, Rap, War of Words, Antaakshri, Colour-me-pretty like Face Painting, Mehndi, Rangoli, Clay modeling, Cross Talk, Brain Teasers, Dump Charades, Product Plan and Launch, Creativity in one minute & Lan Gaming etc. were main attraction of the fest.

D.S.Mangat, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Mohali appreciated the efforts and enthusiasm of the student community. According to him such events provide a platform to the students to showcase their talent and share their knowledge in various cultural, technical and intellectual fields. Students creativity is also developed and honed due such competitions.

J. S. Bedi, Chairman, Gian Jyoti Group while honoring the students said that such youth festival has equal significance as academic accomplishments. such cultural and professional activities mitigates the stress level of the students and thereby this gives an impetus to their overall personality grooming which has a special role to play in their professional life in the coming time

In the end prizes were also distributed to the winners. Cross Talks won by Shivalik Institute of Education And Research, Brain Teaser (Quiz) won by Post Graduate Govt. College, Sec-11, Chandigarh, Product Plan and Launch won by S.D COLLEGE SECTOR 32, Dumb Charades won by D.A.V COLLEGE SECTOR-10, Creativity in one minute won by Government collage of commerce and business administration sector-50, LAN Gaming(NFS) and LAN Gaming(Counter Strike) won by Government collage of commerce and business administration sector-50, Lok Geet / Solo Song won by Khalsa College Mohali, Rap won by SGGS College Sec-26 Chandigarh, Color me pretty won by Rayat Bahra University, Rang De Rangoli Competition won by PGGC, Antakshri won by Rayat Bhara University and Clay Modelling won by Khalsa College Mohali.
