GSEB HSC result, SSC result of Purak Pariksha held in July has been announced by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB). The board had announced the result date a few days back and keeping up with the schedule, the Purak exam results have been declared in the morning today. The students can check GSEB HSC Purak Pariksha result and SSC result 2017 from official website gseb.org.
GSEB had earlier conducted the annual examinations for Secondary School Certificate (SSC) classes in March and the results were announced in May. Over 11 lakh students were a part of SSC exams of Gujarat Board held in March. As per the result information provided by GSEB, as much as 80,600 students were registered for SSC Purak Examination July 2017, of which only 46,171 appeared in the exams. Only 27.7% students could clear the Purak Pariksha (Supplementary exam), taking the number of pass students to 13,520.
Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board is also responsible for Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination which it conducts as General stream, Science Stream and others. In Science stream, over 1.41 lakh students had taken GSEB 4th semester 12th class exams in March. For the Purak Pariksha organized by Board in July, 42,721 students were registered under HSC Science stream. Of these, 39,423 students appeared for supplementary exams and only 7.63% (3,008) could pass the exam.
Over 5.14 lakh students were a part of GSEB HSC examination this year in March. For the Purak Pariksha, total 59,183 students were registered under HSC General stream. In the supplementary exams held in July, 43,689 students appeared, while only 16,230 students could qualify the exam. The pass percentage in GSEB HSC General result for Purak Pariksha is only 37.15%.
GSEB has announced HSC result and SSC result at its official website gseb.org, while the pass students have been instructed to collect their mark sheets from respective schools after 11 am today. The Board issues mark sheets of the students to the Heads of Schools.
